Previously, the jurors heard how two of the defendants were involved in another burglary in Kent, the day before they were shot Mr. Allen.

A Renault Captur was employed by Stewart Ahearne from a dealer in Dartford and used by the other two defendants in a closed community in Kent, the court heard.

The criminal prosecution claimed that the background of the shot was that Mr. Allen was a “sophisticated” criminal.

He was sentenced to Woolwich Crown Court for his largest reinforced robbery in the UK, at the Securitas in Kent, in which 54 million pounds were stolen, a large part of which it was never recovered, the court heard.

The defendants would have traveled from their origin lawn in the Woolwich area of southeast London, through the Blackwall tunnel to the new victim in the Malvern Drive, as part of the conspiracy planning and execution.

Louis Ahearne, from Greenwich, Southeast London, and Stewart Ahearne and Kelly, both without fixed address, deny to conspire to kill Mr. Allen between June 26 and July 12, 2019.
