Thousands of Armenians are deported from the US. Where will the “Great Dane” arrive – Vardan Ghukasyan?

Armenian authorities are aware of the intention of the US authorities to deport over 2 thousand Armenians in the country. This was announced on March 4 by the chief commissioner for the business of Diaspora Zare Sinanyan.

It should be mentioned that, in January, the US, US immigration and customs execution (ICE) published a document that approximately 2,808 Armenian citizens will be deported from the United States as part of Trump’s policy against illegal migrants in the country.

“It is wrong to call these people Diaspora. There are Armenian citizens who have no right to stay in the United States. We are talking about the intention to deport more than two thousand Armenian citizens,” Sinanyan told a press conference on Tuesday.

According to him, the real figure can be much higher, “this is only the first batch”, there is no data on the number of those already expelled.

It should be mentioned that these days a story in the US develops, with the sudden disappearance of the popular blogger and the Armenian politician Vardan Ghukasyan, nicknamed “Dog”, whose political rating is the third in Armenia. Later, it became clear that the founder and president of the MLC party, Vardan Ghukasyan, was detained by the customs and migration officers in the US and is under arrest in Las Vegas (Nevada). He is facing deportation.

Ghukasyan has many enemies in Armenia, which he exposed and insulted daily in his speeches. It is worth noting that Vardan Ghukasyan has repeatedly said he is a citizen of Russia. And left for the US from Russia. So far, there have been no comments of the Russian official bodies about the fate of Vardan Ghukasyan.
