Pedofil Peterborough closed for sexual abuse livestreaming

A pedophile has been imprisoned for 12 years to train people from abroad to convey sexual abuse of children.

Jamie Barnes, 47, had messages that show that he arranges live transmission, as well as indecent photos on his electronic devices.

He was sentenced to Cambridge Crown Court on Friday after being found guilty of organizing the commission of a child sex offense and two charges to take an indecent photograph of a child.

Barnes, from Rivendale, Werrington, on the outskirts of Peterborough, was also ordered to sign the register of sex criminals and handed an order to prevent indeterminate sex.

The officers arrested him and confiscated the devices after receiving information about his online activity between November 2020 and January 2022.

DET CON ZIP Lloyd, from Cambridgeshire Constabulary, said: “Although Barnes did not commit any contact crimes, his behavior has led directly to sexual abuse of contact on children.

“Child protection is a priority of strength and we will do everything in our powers to bring those who abuse young people.”

Barnes also acknowledged that he owns heroine and cannabis, was found when his home was sought.
