The French pedophile surgeon says he is both “good surgeon” and “pervert”

The French pedophile surgeon Joel Leoarnec said on Tuesday that he has two distinct personalities: as “a good surgeon”, as well as a “pervert” who did not have qualifications about what he did to his patients, most of them minor.

The 74 -year -old had been judged in the west of Vannes in the west last week in one of the biggest cases of sexual abuse of children in France.

He acknowledged that he “fantasized” about his three sons, but he insisted that he never acted on those fantasies.

His middle -aged son, aged 42, told the court last week that he was sexually raped and abused by his grandfather, LE Scoarnec’s father, from the age of five to 10 years.

The former surgeon is already in prison, being found guilty in 2020 by the abuse of four children, including two of his grandchildren.

According to French law, rape is “any act of sexual penetration, of any kind or of any oral generation act on another person or the person of the perpetrator through violence, constraint, threat or surprise.”

The surgeon has never been investigated during his career, despite a 2005 sentence for having sexual abusive images with children and some of his colleagues who sound alarm on suspicious behavior.

He continued to practice until his retirement in 2017, after which a six -year -old man accused of rape and the police discovered journal of abuse against his patients stored on his computers.
