Prison for the man from Kuwaiti, the woman in the bay in the case of “Indecent Act”

Kuwait City, March 6: The criminal court overturned the judgment issued to close a man from Kuwaiti and a golf woman, up to three months in prison, following their appearance in a video, widely known as “Range Rover” on social media where they can be seen engaging in an indecent public act. Following the cancellation of their punishments, the court refrained from imposing any other penalties to the persons involved. The case started with an investigation officer in the Qadisiya Police Section, which retains the first defendant because he appeared in the video video, who presented the indecent law near Arabia Gulf Street in Bneid Al-Gar and won attention on Social Media.

The video showed a White Range Rover vehicle, with the defendant standing next to him and hugging publicly and kissing a woman whose characteristics were not visible. The lawyer In’am Haider, who represented the Gulf woman during the court hearing, claimed that the decision issued in the absence was not invalid, as the defendant was not properly notified of the court session with a legal announcement. The lawyer also argued that the elements of the crime of public indecent are not present, stating that the defendant has nothing to do with the incident. In addition, lawyer Haider questioned the validity of the investigators’ activity, claiming that he has no seriousness.
