Orlando – A suspected thief took off two pairs of diamond earrings during his arrest on the side of a Florida Panhandle highway, say the detectives, leaving them with the task of waiting to “collect” Tiffany Jewelry & Co. worth almost $ 770,000.

In the team’s car, a state soldier heard the suspect saying, “I should have thrown on the window,” and at the prison in Washington county he asked the staff: “Will I be accused of what is in my stomach?” According to the arrest report.

The 32 -year -old man from Texas is accused of two crimes for stealing the earrings from a luxury shopping center last Wednesday.

An x -ray of its torso shows what the Orlando police department believed to be diamond earrings – a white table shining strongly on the gray background of its digestive tract.

“These foreign objects are suspected of being Tiffany Earrings and CO -CO -Co -Cecii taken in the robbery, but will have to be collected … after they are adopted, “said the arrest report of the department.

Orlando police spokesman Kaylee Bishop said on Wednesday that he had checked the main detective that the earrings were still recovered. The status of the earrings was not known to a deputy who answered the phone, but would not give the name in the rural county Panhandle, where the suspect was arrested near Chipley, Florida.

The handwriting on a commitment order submitted on Monday stated “outside the doctor”, suggesting that he was at a medical unit.

During theft, the man would have told Tiffany Sales Associates that he is interested in buying diamond earrings and a diamond ring on behalf of an Orlando Magic basketball player. Sales associations escorted the man in a VIP room where he could see the jewelry. Shortly later, he jumped from the chair, grabbed the jewelry and tried to force his way from the door.

One of the sales associations was injured trying to block it, but managed to beat the diamond ring, evaluated at $ 587,000, in his hands.

The detectives obtained the plate of registration of the suspect’s car through the Mall Security Materials and I think he drove back to Texas. The state troops watched the car from the label readers on Florida Turnpike and 10 until it was pulled to drive without back lights in Washington County, almost 340 miles (550 kilometers), said the Orlando police report.

The suspect was accused of theft of Grand grade and rank of a first degree with a mask, a third degree offense. The judicial records did not show any lawyer for him, and he was listed in the Custody of the police in Orange County Florida, who houses Orlando, on Wednesday morning.
