Woman accused of expressing support for outlawing organization

A woman has been accused of two charges of expressing support for Hamas, an outlawed organization.

Sarah Cotte 20 (18.03.04) from Camden, would have held a public speech in October 2023, which supported and celebrated the attacks on October 7 in Israel and invited support for those who committed them. This video was later broadcast on X.

The second accusation refers to similar comments, assumed made on a WhatsApp group.

Cotte was arrested on January 30, 2024 and charged on March 4.

She is about to appear at the court of magistrates in Westminster on March 24.
