Ukraine will not suspend mobilization if the 30 -day fire is declared, says the parliamentarian – World

Moscow, March 12 /Tass /. Kiev will not suspend mobilization, nor will the martial law lift if an cessation of 30-day fire is announced on the basis of an initiative presented at an Ukraine-Route in Jeddah, on March 11, said Roman Kostenko, the secretary of the Ukraine’s parliamentary committee for national security, defense and information.

“We are talking about the possibility of a 30 -day fire cease, so the lifting of the martial law and the suspension of the mobilization campaign is not in question,” said Kostenko Zerskalo Nedeli.

Negotiations between the delegations of the United States and Ukraine took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 11th. It took about 9.5 hours. Following the discussions, a common statement was published on Vladimir Zelensky’s website, according to which Ukraine is ready to accept an American proposal for a 30-day fire cessation, while Washington will immediately take a break in providing information and assistance to resume Kiev. The parties also agreed to sign a mineral agreement as soon as possible.

The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peslov warned against “things in a hurry” regarding Russia’s response to the initiative of ceasing fire. Russian President Vladimit Putin mentioned earlier that a solution to the conflict in Ukraine should lead to a long -term peace than a short break.
