Four families are outside a house on Friday morning, as a result of an apartment fire in Jefferson County on Thursday night, the firefighters from West Metro said.
The fire damaged two units in a building – one on the second floor and the other on the third floor. Also, smoke and water were damaged two units, said West Metro Fire Rescue. There were no wounds.
When the firefighters arrived at the complex just after 8:30 pm on Thursday, West Metro Fire Rescue said that the heavy flames were rolling in front of the building, moving from one unit to another and in the attic.
West Metro Fire Rescue said the cause of the fire is being investigated.
