Mom and 2 years old injured in Laurinburg shootings say officials

Laurinburg, NC (WMBF) – The Laurinburg Police Department says he is investigating after a shot left a victim in critical condition on Sunday morning.

Authorities say that just before 1 in the morning, the officers responded to block 400 in Hood Drive on shooting shootings.

Upon arrival, the officers said they had located the 23 -year -old Chavonda Jones victims and her 2 -year -old young woman.

EMS from Scotland County responded and transported the two victims to the Memorial Hospital in Scotland, where Jones was treated and released. The 2 -year -old was transported to another medical unit for the treatment listed under critical conditions.

According to the police, Jones and her child were sitting in her vehicle when a red vehicle was raised. It seems that a passenger in the car started shooting more fires in the car hitting Jones and her child.

The police department says that mandates have been obtained for Henry Anderson, 16 years old, for attempted murder, issuing an occupied weapon that downloads a firearm within the city’s limits and holding a firearm by a minor.

Authorities say Anderson is considered armed and dangerous.
