Two Waterloo residents arrested for shopping, coercion

Two Waterloo residents were arrested on Tuesday night after trying to leave a local business without paying for all their objects, the authorities said.

Brandin Purdy, 20, and Jamaera Briones, 18 years old, were arrested around 5:00 pm, after the police have established that she had not been able to scan all the goods in their possession before passing the stores of the store.

Both Purdy and Briones were accused by Petit Larceny and third -degree coercion, both classified as crimes. They were issued tickets for appearance and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
