China reveals its new depth weapon, a cable cutter | Vantage with Palki Sharma | N18g

China revealed for the first time a deep -seawater cutting weapon. China is now the first country in the world to publicly reveal that it has such an instrument. Developed by China Ship Research Center, this high -depth weapon can operate at depths of almost 4,000 meters, even if most underlined cables are about 2,000 meters. China has been repeatedly accused of cutting the cables to underline the Internet and communication around Taiwan. Chinese ships were also accused of dividing the underground cables into the Baltic Sea, cutting cables between Germany and Finland and Sweden and Lithuania. Palki Sharma tells you more.See more
