2 accused of murder after shooting in pricard

Prichard, ala. (Wala) – Two men were arrested and charged with murder and law officials are looking for a third person in relation to a deadly shooting in Prichard, according to Mobile County Sheriff.

MCSO said he was notified of the homicide on Helen Street, just after midnight Thursday. The major detectives of the MCSO crimes, along with the MCSO crime, reached the scene and found the victim, James Wright, lying down in a front court, with more wounds on his body, said the sheriff’s office.

MCSO then took over the investigation and interviewed witnesses on the spot. They said that an argument broke out among several people playing dice before Wright was shot, said the sheriff’s office.

The two arrested men are Jadedeon Blount, 21, and Kenneth Padgett, 21 years old.
