The chief of Primac, Paul Marchant, resigns and admits the "judgment error" after the accusation regarding his behavior towards the woman

Primak’s boss gave him resignation after admitting an “judgment error” in his behavior towards a woman in a social environment.

Paul Marchant gave up the position of executive director of the high street fashion brand, with an immediate effect after an investigation.

MayorkThe parent company, Associated British Foods (ABF), said he cooperated with the investigation and “acknowledged his trial error and accepts that his actions have dropped below the standards expected by ABF.”

“He apologized to the individual in question, the ABF Council and also to his colleagues in Primak and others connected to the business,” the company added.

The current Finance Director of ABF, Eoin Tongge, will take over the position of executive director on an “interim”, and his role will be taken over by Joana Edwards, the current financial controller of the group.

George Weston, the general manager of the group, said he was “huge disappointed”.

“At ABF, we believe that high integrity standards are essential,” he said in a statement.

“Acting responsibly is the only way to build and manage a long -term business. Colleagues and others must be treated with respect and dignity. Our culture must be and is greater than any individual.”

ABF promised that he would continue to support the woman who made the complaint.

The group will continue to publish the provisional results for the financial year, as planned on April 29, according to his statement.
