In addition, the offensive lineman of the second year, Marques Easley, was arrested for three charges of reckless offenses, after collapsed in an apartment near Athens.

Georgia suspended both players endlessly. Bulldogs were the subject of over 20 leadership arrests, as a fatal accident killed the offensive quiet become Willock and recruiting Analist Chandler Lecy in January 2023.

“There is no solution” Pollack said. “Here is what happens now, the children are fine, which is good. If you do not know, we really live close to this and there is this loop in Athens and it is loop 10. It moves around the perimeter here in the area of Athens. From what I understood, I have heard a lot of good stories now about how they will be in the way, so it will be in the way.

Smart and his staff have instituted management courses and information courses on the dangers of reckless leadership. And suspensions, along with null penalties. have been used in the past. But these efforts do not “sink” from Pollack’s perspective.

“And I can tell you this from talking to people at school, a lot of speakers who have entered the lost loved ones,” Pollack said. “A lot of policemen who have entered. A lot of people who told stories … I don’t sink. I don’t understand it, but I understand it because I understood that I am young, mute and invincible. I remember feeling untouched. I was too scared to do this – I would simply not have done it.”

The problem is not entirely a problem in Georgia, because programs from all over the country have their correct share of arrests and incidents from outside the field. But that does not eliminate the light of the reflectors on the UGA.

“But I don’t think you can do something,” Pollack said. “Okay. Take them outside the team. Suspends it endlessly. This is the kind of things you can do. Listen, this takes a salary, you are probably taking some of this money and it is probably a start. But otherwise I promise you Kirby would probably realize it.”
