Taraba command announces the celebration of National Police National Day

The State Police Command in Taraba, on Wednesday, announced the launch of the National Police Day, an annual event that will be observed every 7 April.

This initiative, according to the commissioner, Brettet Emmanuel Simon, follows a presidential directive aimed at recognizing the dedication and sacrifices of the police officers from all over the country.

Apart from expanding an invitation open to the public, the event, as announced by it in a statement made available to Jalingo journalists by the commander of the Command, James Leshen, is designed to encourage stronger links between the law and the public while promoting confidence and cooperation.

As part of the holiday, the order said he aligned several activities to hire the community and promote safety and well -being.

Among such activities, as listed by him, there is a meeting of the City Hall with interested parties, a sanitation and cleaning exercise, a free medical information, a school information on social defects and a strength and community partnership, among others.

Simon emphasized the significance of the National Police Day, emphasizing its role in strengthening public trust and improving security efforts.

“This holiday emphasizes our dedication to ensure public safety and encourage a strong relationship with the communities we serve,” he said.

The order encourages the public participation of the public in the planned activities, strengthening the common responsibility to create a safer society.

He said that the National Police Day will become a key annual tradition, honoring the Police Officers Service and consolidating the role in national development.
