Florida Keys Men Sexually abuses by child for months, say prosecutors

Key West, Fla. -Two men from Florida Keys are facing the possibility of spending the rest of their lives in prison for accusations related to the sexual abuse of a 10-year-old, according to prosecutors.

Prosecutors Key West announced on Thursday that a big jury was accused of Michael Demerjian and Mibsam Azaeel Barrios Jimenez for capital sex batteries.

Monroe County State Lawyer Dennis Ward and State Chief Lawyer, Joseph Mansfield, announced that Deputy State Dunne prosecutor will follow the case aggressively.

“The nature of these accusations is deeply disturbing,” said Mansfield.

The records show that the investigators met with the child who moved to Walton County. According to the indictment, Barrios Jimenez, 21, from Key Largo, sexually abused the victim on October 10 or approximately.

Demerjian, 36, from the Big Pine Key, would have sexually abused by the child several times between June and July. He was arrested after being accused of abusing another child.

In November, the deputies arrested Demerjian while he was driving drunk with a 3-year-old car in the car, the recordings show. The deputies reported that they found Clonazepam, Gabapentin and a glass pipe in the car.

In January, a person who bought a car used from Demerjian told the deputies of the Sheriff in Monroe County that there is a mobile phone in the car that had dozens of images with him sexually abused by a child, the recordings show.
