Kolkata police filed a wire against the Western Bengal Minister, Bratya Basu, his driver and leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Om Prakash Mishra, on Thursday, in relation to the alleged violent confrontations at Jadavpur University.

Fire was registered at the Jadavpur Police Section based on a complaint by a student of Varsity who suffered injured during the incident on March 1.

The minister’s car driver together with others were also appointed in the complaint.

The protests broke out after the Violence on Campus on March 1, when two students were injured like a car in Basu’s convoy, who would have passed them against the background of chaos.

However, Basu claimed that they suffered injuries when the protesters damaged the windshield of his car.

The minister said that while he was willing to discuss the requirements of the students, they tried instead to create chaos and forcefully block their car.

A protest by the IPC (M) students’ wing (M), was violently transformed at the University of Jadavpur on March 1, after the students surrounded the vehicle of the Western Bengal, Braya Basu, who affected the windshield and the rear -view mirror, reports the PTI.

The incident happened when Basu left the campus after attending the annual General Assembly of the Western Bengal Teachers’ Association and the University (WBCUPA).

Basu, who was approached by over 100 Protestant students, suffered injuries due to broken glass, while the crowd became aggressive. It is assumed that the students showed him shoes and also crushed the rear -view mirror of his car.

His Security endeavored to manage the situation, and was later taken to SSKM Hospital. While he was there, Basu reported that he felt pain in his chest and left, but was cleaned by doctors after an x ​​-ray. He said the wounds are not serious.

“I was ready to talk to the students protesting. Even SFI taught me a memorandum, but when I was about to get the car again, over 100 protesters turned aggressively and surrounded me. I was ready to talk to five representatives, even in the presence of Vice-Cancer, but I did not want to go. Basu said, after they wanted Chaos and the wicked.

He also claimed that the students did not act alone and joined the ultra-standing groups on campus.
